The applicant must:
Be from a low-income Moroccan family;

على الطالب أن يكون:
منحدرا من أسرة مغربية معوزة؛

Be a regular resident in the country of residence;

Be under 26 years of age for the Bachelor's program, under 30 years of age for the Master's program, and under 36 years of age for the Doctoral program, as of December 31, 2024 ;

Hold a high school diploma (Baccalaureate) from the country of residence;

حاصال على شهادة الباكالوريا ببلد اإلقامة؛

Be enrolled in a public higher education institution in the country of residence ;

مسجال بإحدى مؤسسات التعليم العالي العمومي ببلد اإلقامة ؛

Not be employed in the public or private sector;

Have a full name matching all documents submitted in the application file.

Program Sheet

As part of its programs for Moroccans living abroad, aimed at preserving and strengthening the national identity of the younger generation, the Ministry of foreign affairs, African Cooperation and Moroccans Living Abroad, Department of Moroccans Living Abroad, organizes, The 17th Edition of the Summer University.

Thus, Moroccan students residing abroad, wishing to participate in the activities of this edition of the Summer University and meeting the eligibility requirements, must submit their applications by 19 April 2026.

Create a platform for young participants to exchange experiences and gain a deeper understanding of their common concerns within their host countries.
Propose practical and sustainable frameworks to consolidate the relationship between the Moroccans living abroad and their homeland across all sectors.
Brief participants on Morocco’s latest economic, political, and socio-cultural developments, while highlighting emerging investment opportunities.
Bolster Morocco's international standing by promoting core values of dialogue, tolerance, and mutual respect.
Showcase Morocco’s intangible cultural heritage and the unique strategic assets of the Kingdom’s diverse regions.

About 300 young Moroccan students living abroad, aged between 18 and 25 will attend the university.

from 04 July 2026 to 12 July 2026 in Tangier .

Conditions and Required Documents

To apply for the Summer University, candidates must :

Be of Moroccan descent.
Have completed their secondary education (Baccalaureate) in their host country.
Be aged between 18 and 25.
Be currently pursuing higher education studies.
Be a first-time participant (not having attended any prior Cultural University programs).

The Application form: to fill in online on the website.
A copy of high school (Baccalaureate) degree.
A school certificate 2025-2026.
A student's transcript (or other school records) 2025-2026.
A copy of passport.
A copy of Moroccan identity card.

Applications will be reviewed by a Department selection committee in two phases :

Phase 1 :Pre-selection – Candidates are shortlisted based on the eligibility criteria mentioned above and the completeness of the required application documents.
Phase 2 :Final Selection – The final list will be determined based on additional criteria (such as geographical representation and registration date) and the submission of a travel insurance policy covering Moroccan territory and the Summer University period (July 4th to 12th, 2026).
